A beautiful site located in the heart of the Chilterns with challenging topography and a contemporary  passive house design by Kirkland Fraser Moor Architects.

James undertook the site master planning and concept design stages, later refining the scheme to provide sufficient information to assist with planning condition discharge and to suit client feedback.

With a tight landscape budget to work to, the intent was to provide a comprehensive scheme that could be phased and implemented over time, rather than in one go.  The client was keen to have a long term picture to aim for rather than build elements of the landscape ad hoc.

Planning was successfully granted in 2016 and work on the house started the same year.
