Orchard Lea

A large country garden requiring careful masterplanning to link various outbuildings and the main residence together in a cohesive way. Outbuildings include a purpose built pool house, garages, annexes, and office space. The site benefits from some beautiful mature Oak trees amongst others giving maturity to the landscape and a backbone to the scheme.

Space for recreation and entertainment, as well as practical space for car parking and access were key elements of the brief. Large areas of mixed ornamental planting flank terraces where external kitchens, lounge seating, fire pits, and an external hot tub have been provided. As the site moves towards the rear boundary the planting becomes looser and more natural with swathes of grasses and wildflower.
